How to glue landscape block and wall caps
Advanced Hybrid grabs on contact, bonds damp block and needs no bracing.
What you'll need
- BoaBond Advanced Hybrid 10.2 fl oz
- Caulking gun
- Wire or stiff brush
- Utility knife
- Level
Step by step
A general sequence. Always follow the product TDS for working time, cure and temperature limits.
Dry-fit
Set out the course or caps and check them with a level before you glue.
Brush clean
Brush off dust and loose grit. Damp block is fine; brush off standing water.
Cut the nozzle
Cut the tip for a bead of about 3/8 in.
Apply beads
Run two beads along the block, about 1 in in from each edge.
Set it
Press the block or cap into place within the 10 minute skin time. No bracing needed.
Let it cure
It reaches full strength at 7 days. Apply between 32 and 150°F.

It can be applied down to 32°F and is rated for service from −50 to 220°F.
